Baseball

• Sophomore pitcher Dylan Thompson worked six innings of three-run ball in a victory over San Jacinto College-North on April 9. Thompson earned his third consecutive victory and improved to 5-0.
• Redshirt freshman pitcher Travis Minard set career highs in innings pitched (six) and strikeouts (eight) while settling for a no-decision in a Blinn victory over San Jacinto-North in game two of a double header April 10.
• Sophomore infielder Drew Britton posted a career- and season-high while matching the team season-high with four hits in the game-two victory over San Jacinto-North.
• Freshman catcher/designated hitter Zachary Tuxhorn posted two hits in both games of the doubleheader against San Jacinto-North and now has a team-high 20 multi-hit games.
• Tuxhorn has been Blinn's most slump-proof hitter this season, with hits in 33 of his 40 games played. He has reached base by way of a walk or hit in all but three games this season.
• With its victory over San Jacinto-North in game two of the April 10 doubleheader, Blinn reached the 30-win threshold for a fourth consecutive season.
• Freshmen Carson Cherry (outfielder), A.J. DePaolo (catcher), Austin Glasscock (designated hitter), Dane Perry (utility), Ryley Leininger (third baseman), and Tuxhorn, alongside sophomores Benji Barrera (utility), Jacob Bohacek (infielder), and Hunter Smolinski (infielder) have each hit their first collegiate home run this season.
• Hit tracker: Smolinski and Tuxhorn lead Blinn with 59 hits apiece.
• Hitting streaks (five or more games): Smolinski 9; Tuxhorn 5.

Softball

• Freshman infielder Londyn Holland set a career-high and matched a team season-high with two home runs in a victory over Lamar State College-Port Arthur during a doubleheader on April 8. Holland was the third Buccaneer to achieve the feat this season, joining sophomores Cadence Wiese (catcher/infielder) and Annie Beckendorf (infielder).
• Freshman utility player Lexis Moss has recorded two hits in four consecutive games, starting with game one of a doubleheader against Lamar State College-Port Arthur on April 8. Wiese's four hits against Alvin in game two of the April 11 twin bill marked her third consecutive multi-hit game.
• Wiese tied an individual career- and season-high, as well as the team season-high with four hits in a game-two victory over Alvin on April 11.
• Sophomore pitcher Brynn Gallamore pitched a season- and team-high eight innings during an extra-innings victory in game one of a doubleheader against Alvin Community College on April 11.
• Sophomore outfielder Halle Scheele and freshman outfielder Skylar Flanagan have each recorded at least one hit in 29 of their 35 games played this season. Moreno is just behind them with a hit in 28 of 35 games played.
• Scheel (outfielder) and Daniela Lopez (first baseman), as well as Flanagan and Moss, Kourtney Karter (catcher), Jaylen Budalich Moraice (catcher/first baseman), and Holland (infielder) have each hit their first collegiate home run this season.
• Four Bucs (minimum requirement of 2 PA/G and 75% of games played) are hitting .400 or better this season: Moreno (.418), Flanagan (.417), Wiese (.414), and Moss (.413).
• Blinn's pitching staff is limiting opposing lineups to a .231 batting average (216 for 935).
