Erica Thurman joined Blinn College in April 2023 as its Assistant Director of Academic Advising on the Brenham campus.
Thurman's duties include academic advising for student-athlete,s as well as testing.
Prior to her time at Blinn College, Thurman spent 15 years at Tyler Junior College and acquired experience in numerous areas, including Enrollment Support Services, the Registrar's Office, and the Office of Financial Aid.
Thurman has a Bachelors in Liberal Arts from Texas A&M University-Commerce and will begin her Masters in Higher Education from Sam Houston in the Fall 2023 semester.
Thurman is a native of East Texas.
