Baseball

• In a Blinn victory over Galveston College on March 21, redshirt freshman pitcher Luke Ekdall earned his fourth consecutive win.
• Ekdall has at least six strikeouts in each of his eight starts this season.
• Freshman catcher/designated hitter Zachary Tuxhorn has at least one hit in 25 of the 28 games he has played this season, including 15 multi-hit efforts. He has reached base via a hit, walk, or hit by pitch in all but one game.
• Tuxhorn scored an individual- and team-best five runs during a victory over Galveston on March 17.
• Freshman outfielder Carson Cherry, freshman catcher A.J. DePaolo, freshman first baseman Austin Glasscock, freshman catcher/designated hitter Dane Perry, freshman third baseman Ryley Leininger, and Tuxhorn, alongside sophomore utility man Benji Barrera, and sophomore infielders Jacob Bohacek and Hunter Smolinski have each hit their first collegiate home run this season.
• Two Bucs (minimum requirement of 2 PA/G and 75% of games played) are hitting .400 or better this season: Tuxhorn (.484) and sophomore outfielder Kason Atkins (.444).

Softball

• Sophomore pitcher Brynn Gallamore earned three victories in three starts last week, defeating North Central Missouri College (March 17), Coastal Bend College (March 18), and Angelina College (March 21).
• Gallamore struck out a season-high nine against Angelina.
• Freshman outfielder Skylar Flanagan has recorded at least one hit in 20 of her 22 games played this season. Sophomore catcher/third baseman Cadence Wiese has hit safely in 17 (20 games played), and freshman infielder Brianna Moreno has a hit in 16 games (21 played). 
• During a doubleheader against Coastal Bend, the Bucs recorded a season-best four sacrifice flies during a game-one win. Sophomore outfielder Halle Scheel was responsible for two.
• The Bucs recorded a season-high five stolen bases in a game-two victory over Coastal Bend. Scheel had three of those swipes.
• Blinn has hit 31 home runs this season, surpassing its 2025 total (26).
• Four Bucs (minimum requirement of 2 PA/G and 75% of games played) are hitting .400 or better this season: Wiese (.492), Moreno (.464), ,Flanagan (.443) and freshman outfielder Lexis Moss (.421).
• Blinn's pitching staff is limiting opposing lineups to a .266 batting average.
