Baseball

• The Buccaneers have won five consecutive games, their longest winning streak of the season.
• Blinn smacked a season-high five home runs in a victory over Grayson College during game two of a twin bill on Feb. 18. Sophomore first baseman Drew Britton, sophomore infielders Hunter Smolinski and Jacob Bohacek, sophomore outfielder Kason Atkins, and freshman catcher/designated hitter Zachary Tuxhorn combined for the effort.
• Now in his second season as a Buccaneer, sophomore utility man Benji Barrera cracked his first collegiate home run in a 10-9 game-one victory over Temple College during a doubleheader on Feb. 21.
• Bohacek collected the first two-homer game of his career when he went deep twice during a 13-1 victory in game two over the twin bill against Temple. It was the first two-homer game for Blinn since former Buc Matt Quintanar accomplished the feat against San Jacinto College-North on May 15, 2025.
• Smolinski had season-high four hits against Grayson College on Feb. 17, tying Tuxhorn's single-game total which he set accomplished Weatherford College on Feb. 1.
• Tuxhorn's five RBI's against Grayson on Feb. 17 tied a single-game team high. Britton accomplished the feat against Dodge City Communicato College on Feb. 3.
• Freshmen Carson Cherry, A.J. DePaolo, Austin Glasscock, Ryley Leininger, Dane Perry, and Tuxhorn, alongside sophomores Barrera, Bohacek, and Smolinski, have each hit their first collegiate home run this season.
• The Blinn pitching staff tied a single-game best with 15 strikeouts in a win over Grayson on Feb. 17. In order of appearance, sophomore Ben Polleschultz (five), freshmen Corby Wagoner (six) and Landon Bowden (one), and sophomore Hudson Melaerts (three) combined for the feat.
• Hit tracker: Tuxhorn leads Blinn with 24 hits.
• Average tracker: Atkins holds a team-high .514 batting average this season (19 for 37; minimum requirement of 2 PA/G and 75% of games played).
• RBI tracker: Bohacek leads the Bucs with 19 RBIs.
• Home run tracker: Through 15 games this season, 11 Buccaneers have combined for 30 homers. Bohacek leads the way with seven, while Smolinski and Tuxhorn follow with five apiece.
• Win tracker: Sophomore Hayden Morris and freshman Trevor Moore lead the Blinn pitching staff with three victories apiece.
• Strikeout tracker: Redishirt freshman Luke Ekdall has a team-high 34 strikeouts in four appearances (20 2/3 innings).

Softball

• The NJCAA released its top-20 national ranking on Feb. 23, where Blinn landed at No. 7. It is Blinn's first appearance in the poll since cracking the 2020 preseason rankings at No. 11.
• The Buccaneers are 10-2 for the first time since 2023.
• Sophomore catcher and second-year Buc Cadence Wiese hit two home runs in game one of a doubleheader against Temple College on Feb. 17. It was the first two-homer game of her career. Former Buc Bailey Boetjer last accomplished the feat against Angelina College on March 19, 2025.
• Blinn amassed a single-game best four home runs against Temple in the opener of its doubleheader. Wiese (two), sophomore Annie Beckendorf, and sophomore first baseman Daniela Lopez combined for the effort.
• Hit tracker: Sophomore outfielder Lexis Moss leads Blinn with 20 hits.
• Average tracker: Moss holds a team-high .465 batting average (20 for 43).
• RBI tracker: Lopez leads the Bucs with 14 RBIs.
• Home run tracker: Through 12 games this season, six Buccaneers have combined for 18 homers. Moss, Lopez, Wiese and Beckendorf lead the way with four apiece.
• Win tracker: Sophomore Brynn Gallamore leads the Blinn pitching staff with six victories (6-0 overall).
• Strikeout tracker: Gallamore has a team-high 20 strikeouts in 9 appearances (48 1/3 innings).
• Complete game tracker: The Blinn pitching staff has pitched eight complete games this season. Gallamore has five.

Men's Basketball

• Freshman guard/forward Ian Sedah tallied 20 points against Lamar State College-Port Arthur on Feb. 18, the first 20-point effort of his collegiate career.
• Across Blinn's 27 games this season, 10 Buccaneers have accounted for 95 double-digit scoring efforts.

Women's basketball

• With a 50-48 victory over Kilgore College on Feb. 18, Blinn pushed its winning streak against the Rangers to four games dating back to Jan. 11, 2025. 
• The Buccaneers are 20-10 against Kilgore since Feb. 2, 2013.
• Eleven Buccaneers have produced 70 double-digit scoring efforts through 27 games this season.
