Men's Basketball

  • The Buccaneers wrapped up non-region play with a 6-2 record, their best showing since a 9-2 non-region mark in 2023.
  • Sophomore guard Dashawn Ceaser has scored in double figures in each of Blinn's eight games this season and is the only Buc to do so. 
  • In a victory over New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI) on Nov. 20, Ceaser recorded a season- and career-high 34 points. Ceaser's 34 points were the most by a Buccaneer since Davion Coleman's 39 against Jacksonville College on Feb. 3, 2021.
  • Freshman guard Connor Sprattley recorded his fifth double-digit scoring effort against NMMI, a season- and career-best 28.
  • Freshman guard Desmeon Jones had a season-high seven assists against NMMI.
  • Blinn's 100-88 win over NMMI was its second triple-digit scoring effort this season.
  • Against NMMI, Blinn committed a season-low 12 turnovers.
  • The Bucs knocked down a season-high 10 3-pointers against NMMI, including a season- and career-high seven for Sprattley.
  • Through eight games, four players are averaging 10 or more points for Blinn: Ceaser (18.9), Sprattley (15), Jones (12.1), and freshman guard Kendarius Johnson (10).

Women's basketball

  • Sophomore guard Taylor Spencer produced a season- and career-high 15 points against Howard College on Nov. 22.
  • Freshman forward Amyah Weathersby scored 10 points against Howard, her first career double-digit scoring effort.
  • Sophomore forward Cynthia LeCompte had a season- and career-best six assists against Howard.
  • In an 88-42 victory over Western Texas College on Nov. 21, Blinn registered its highest point total of the season.
  • Freshman guard Chloe Williams tallied a season- and career-high 12 points against Western Texas.
  • Weathersby's 11 rebounds against Western Texas served as her first double-digit rebounding effort.
  • Freshman forward Phoenix Sneed and freshman guard Mariah Davis each had a career-high eight rebounds against Western Texas.
  • Blinn's 76 field goal attempts and 31 field goals made against Western Texas were both season highs.
  • The Buccaneers blocked a season-high three shots against Weatherford on Nov. 20.
  • Nine Buccaneers have produced 18 double-digit scoring efforts through seven games this season.

Men's Soccer

  • In Blinn's second and final match of its first NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship tournament appearance, freshman midfielder Jordan Franco tallied the team's second nationals goal in program history. 
  • Freshman defender/forward Jesus Gonzalez provided the assist on Franco's goal, marking the second nationals assist in program history.
  • Sophomore midfielder Sam Sebagabo and freshman defender Malikai Fry were named to the national tournament's all-tournament team.
  • On Nov. 21, Region 14 announced its all-region honorees. Sebagabo and Fry landed on the first-team list, while sophomore defenders Geoff Ojango and Alek Melo, sophomore forward Alan Kocmoud Navarro, freshman midfielder Jordan Franco, and freshman goalkeeper Samir Bristol made the second team.
  • Blinn led NJCAA DI with 142 corner kicks.
  • The Bucs finished the season with 75 assists, third most in NJCAA Division I men's soccer. 
  • Blinn's nine shutouts were tied for fourth most in NJCAA DI.
  • The Bucs tallied the ninth-most shots in NJCAA DI with 317.

Volleyball

  • During its sixth consecutive appearance in the NJCAA Division I Volleyball Championship tournament, Blinn defeated No. 17 Indian Hills Community College in five sets on Nov. 20, its first win on the national stage since a victory over Northeastern Junior College on Nov. 18, 2022.
  • Blinn led NJCAA Division I in total kills with 1,841, set assists with 1,718, service aces with 346, and block assists with 557.
  • The Bucs finished third in NJCAA DI with 386 total blocks.
  • Blinn's 2.59 blocks per set and 2,114 digs were both ninth in NJCAA DI.
