No. 11 Blinn takes seventh at Claud Jacobs Invitational

Sophomore Adrian Rodriguez shot 4-over par for 11th place individually

Eleventh-ranked Blinn College men's golf placed seventh at the Claud Jacobs Invitational on Tuesday at the Victoria Country Club in Victoria, Texas.

The Buccaneers' White team also competed in the 13-team tournament and finished ninth.

Seventh-ranked Weatherford College carded a 14-under to win the competition.

The Blinn Blue squad finished 46-over par across three rounds, led by sophomore Adrian Rodriguez's 4-over outing. He placed 11 individually amongst 74 golfers.

Following Rodriguez were freshmen Broc Talamantez and Jake Robinson, who shot 12- and 15-over for 30th and 35th-place respectively. Sophomore Cody Peters took 41st at 17-over.

The Blinn White team was paced by an 11-over showing for freshman Drake German, who took 28th.

Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 53 national championships since 1987.
