Men's Basketball

  • Each of Blinn's three Region 14 victories this season have come on the road.
  • The Buccaneers defeated fourth-ranked Trinity Valley Community College on Saturday, Jan. 10, in Athens, Texas, their first win over the Cardinals since Nov. 30, 2022.
  • By defeating Trinity Valley on the road, the Bucs handed the Cardinals their first home loss since Feb. 17, 2024.
  • Sophomore guard Dashawn Ceaser's 26 points against Trinity Valley marked his fifth game with 20 or more points and his team-leading 14th double-digit scoring effort of the season.
  • Ceaser's 11 made free throws against Trinity Valley were the most by a Buccaneer in a game this season. Ceaser's 13 free throw attempts tied freshman guard Desmeon Jones' season-high.
  • The Bucs knocked down 25 free throws against Trinity Valley to tie their season high.

Women's basketball

  • The Buccaneers defeated Kilgore College on Jan. 10, their third consecutive victory over the Rangers dating back to Jan. 11, 2025.
  • Since Feb. 2, 2013, Blinn is 19-10 against Kilgore.
  • The Bucs finished with five double-digit scorers in its victory against the Rangers, a season-high they also achieved against Lonestar College-Tomball and Temple College.
  • Blinn's 13 made 3-pointers against Kilgore tied a season high.
  • Eleven Buccaneers have produced 48 double-digit scoring efforts through 17 games this season.
