Joshua Kaddu enters his second season as an assistant football coach at Blinn College.
Kaddu, a native of Vacaville, Calif., arrives following an impressive playing career.
A graduate of Vacaville High School, Kaddu excelled as a linebacker before signing with Division I powerhouse Oregon. As a key piece in the Ducks' defense between 2008 and 2011, Kaddu helped Oregon capture three Pac-12 Conference championships, as well as a Rose Bowl victory in 2011. Kaddu was named a team captain during his senior season and earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors.
Following his collegiate career, Kaddu was drafted in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. He spent three seasons as a pro with Miami and the Minnesota Vikings.
Kaddu earned a bachelor's degree in general social sciences of business and economics from Oregon in 2017.
Kaddu's football coaching career began with a volunteer stint at Vacaville High School from 2019 to 2022. For the 2023 season, Kaddu coached running backs at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, Calif.
