Alexandria Jackson enters her fifth season as head coach of the Blinn College women’s soccer program in 2026 after elevating the Buccaneers into one of the NJCAA Division I’s most competitive programs.
Since taking over the program in 2022, Jackson has guided Blinn to a 34-24-5 overall record while building a culture centered on competitive excellence, player development, and academic achievement. During her first four seasons, the Buccaneers scored 144 goals and allowed just 65 for a plus-79 goal differential. Blinn averaged 2.29 goals scored and only 1.03 goals allowed per match during that span.
The Buccaneers have also developed into a consistent presence on the national stage. Since 2023, Blinn has appeared in the NJCAA Division I and United Soccer Coaches national rankings each season. The Buccaneers have climbed as high as No. 5 in the United Soccer Coaches poll and No. 17 in the NJCAA Division I rankings.
Jackson led Blinn to a breakthrough campaign in 2023, guiding the Buccaneers through one of the most successful seasons in program history. Blinn established a program record with 12 victories, shared the Region XIV South Division regular-season championship, and advanced to the Region XIV Tournament semifinals.
The Buccaneers also earned the first national ranking in program history and finished the season ranked No. 13 in the United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division I poll.
Jackson has helped make Rankin Field one of the most challenging road environments in Region XIV. During her tenure, the Buccaneers have lost just 11 home matches while consistently competing against some of the nation’s top junior college programs.
Player development remains a hallmark of Jackson’s program. Since her arrival at Blinn, 29 student-athletes have advanced to four-year colleges and universities to continue their academic and athletic careers. Buccaneers have signed with NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NAIA, and other four-year programs, including the University of Texas at El Paso, Grambling State University, Texas Southern University, West Virginia State University, and Missouri Southern State University.
Jackson’s student-athletes have also earned significant individual recognition. During her first four seasons as head coach, Blinn produced 11 all-Region XIV selections, including five honorees during the Buccaneers’ historic 2023 championship season and four following the 2025 campaign.
Academic excellence has remained a cornerstone of the program throughout Jackson’s tenure on the Blinn coaching staff. The women’s soccer program earned NJCAA Academic Team of the Year recognition after posting team grade-point averages of 3.15 and 3.35. The Buccaneers also produced a United Soccer Coaches Junior College Scholar All-American, reinforcing the program’s commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes.
Before being promoted to head coach, Jackson spent three seasons as an assistant coach with Blinn’s men’s and women’s soccer programs. She helped guide the women’s team to consecutive postseason appearances, including the first Region XIV Tournament berth and postseason victory in program history. Both Blinn soccer programs also received NJCAA Academic Team of the Year recognition during her time as an assistant.
Jackson’s accomplishments earned her selection to the United Soccer Coaches 30 Under 30 Program, a year-long education and mentorship initiative that recognizes emerging leaders in the coaching profession.
Before joining Blinn, Jackson served as a head coach with Phoenix Rising FC’s club soccer program in Arizona. Every member of her U17 team signed with an NCAA Division I or Division II program.
Jackson previously spent five seasons with the Waldorf University women’s soccer program, serving as an assistant coach from 2014-16 before being promoted to head coach in 2017. During her tenure, the Warriors made four consecutive conference tournament appearances and produced 30 all-conference selections, five Champions of Character honorees, and 35 scholar-athletes.
A former NCAA Division I student-athlete at Northwestern State University, Jackson was a four-year letter, a two-time team captain, and a four-time Southland Conference scholar-athlete. She helped guide the Lady Demons to a Southland Conference championship before beginning a professional playing career with the St. Catharines Jets in Canada and FFC Montabaur in Germany.
Jackson earned a Bachelor of Science in health and exercise science from Northwestern State in 2014 and a Master of Arts in organizational leadership from Columbia Southern University in 2016. She holds the United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma and a U.S. Soccer Federation C License.
