Ryan Lucich

Ryan Lucich begins his third season as an assistant esports coach for Blinn College.
 
Lucich has led Blinn's Call of Duty, Valorant, and League of Legends teams to numerous successful seasons, including the NJCAA Esports Call of Duty national championship in the fall of 2023.

Lucich began competing in League of Legends at Texas Tech University in 2015, where he served as the team's mid-laner and shot caller for three years. He would begin coaching high school club teams during his final year and discovered his passion for working with students and esports in education.
 
Upon graduating from Texas Tech, Lucich joined the University of North Texas as a graduate assistant of esports. There, he served as the head coach for the League of Legends team that qualified for the south conference playoffs for the first time in program history. Lucich also supervised other program coaches and managers, recruited students, worked individually with players, and aided in program policy.
 
Lucich earned a Masters of Science in Kinesiology with a sport psychology focus from UNT and a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from TTU.
