Kenneth Braimer

Kenneth Braimer begins his second season as an assistant football coach at Blinn College. 

Braimer brings a wealth of collegiate coaching experience to his position with the Buccaneers. Prior to arriving at Blinn, Braimer served as a defensive graduate assistant at Illinois State University, where he worked with linebackers while also organizing special teams scout units. During his two seasons with ISU, the Redbirds finished with two top-25 FCS defenses while also having a Buck Buchanan Award Recipient and multiple All-Americans. 

Prior to his run at ISU, Braimer earned his master's degree in health and human performance from Sul Ross State University while also serving as an offensive graduate assistant.  

Braimer is an alumnus of Baylor University, where he studied business and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sports strategy and sales and a master’s degree in sports management. While attending Baylor, Braimer worked as a player personnel student assistant for the Baylor football team, as well as a graduate assistant for the American Football Coaches Association. 

Braimer also has ties to Blinn, where he earned an associate degree in business before transferring to Baylor.
