Blinn's Valorant team sweeps Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in NACE bout

The Buccaneers are now 3-0 in NACE play

The Blinn College esports team earned a 2-0 victory over Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in a best-of-three National Association of College Esports (NACE) Valorant match Wednesday.

The Buccaneer Valorant team improved to 3-0 overall.

Competing for Blinn against the Norsemen were Adam Laamoumi, Teague Morgan, Michael Rieger, Angelina Wu, and Katie Beene.

"The team showed up exceptionally well this week and they were ready to go," Bucs head coach and Valorant manager Aaron Kapiko said. "They played together and came out with a dominant win. We are happy to remain undefeated in the regular season and look to continue our strong showings going into next week."

Blinn Valorant continues its season with a NACE tilt against George Mason University at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 49 national championships since 1987.
